Learning through making, thinking and sharing is an important aspect of our practice. We recognise learning in a variety of different settings and activities. Learning is made up of different steps including researching, thinking, risk-taking, making, reflecting and sharing. Sometimes it is something one does on one’s own, and sometimes with others.

We see our ability to learn as something that feeds into sustainability through creating value and by encouraging self-fulfilment and our society. We capture and share our process, values and learning with a range of different local, national and international individuals and communities.

Our Education programme encourages learning through residencies, short courses, and outreach activities, both on and offline.

“We have to recognise that human flourishing is not a mechanical process; it’s an organic process. And you cannot predict the outcome of human development. All you can do, like a farmer, is create the conditions under which they will begin to flourish.” – Sir Ken Robinson
